a cool thing about new york city

so the giants just won the superbowl (very cool, very awesome, but not the cool thing im talking about) so as expected, there was celebration in the streets. now, in any metropolitan area, there will be masses of people cheering, cars honking, police cars and ambulances quelling riotous drunks, etc. but i'd like to think that spontaneous musicians playing, among others, 'new york, new york', the fox football theme, and that song they play at sports games where people yell 'hey' along with the people in the streets is definitely something you dont see anywhere else.
