went to the 'revenge of the bookeaters' benefit show last wednesday. what a great show. it had jon stewart, john hodgman, sarah vowell, david byrne, david eggers, and sufjan stevens. but probably the most memorable part of the show was jonathan coulton. he was john hodgman's (the mc of the show) sidekick of sorts. at the beginning of the show john asked jonathan if he had any songs about eating (because of the title of the show) and he said yes. and he started singing this song:

hilarious. i think the best part of the song is that the 'compromise' that the protagonist of the song isnt really a compromise at all. please enjoy, as i have.
